My 2nd last post for the year! So glad to be summing up everything. The more frequent I blog, the easier I find it to quickly write a post.

Merry belated Christmas and Happy Holidays! These were the Hudson's Bay Christmas display windows. I really liked what they did this year. It was refreshing since the old window displays were a bit tiring after seeing them year after year.

Today is boxing day and I'm sure the malls are completely packed. I'm skipping out because I really can't deal with crowds anymore. Luckily for you, you don't have to wait for a boxing day haul as I have a few last purchases to share.

First up, my new winter coat! It's the 1 Madison Red And Black Water-Resistant Twill Hooded 2 In 1 Down Parka. I saw it at Winners at the end of Fall/beginning of Winter season but passed it up since I wasn't familiar with the brand. Then I saw this brand at Hudson Bay retailing for $200+. My coat retails for $230, but at Winners they priced it for $179.99.

Luckily for me, the coat eventually ended up in clearance for only $133! I came across it again and decided to try it on since I was looking for a coat of colour since I always go for black. Once I tried it on, it was instant love. It fits so nicely and it's so warm! There's an inside layer that you can remove if you find it too hot. I was really lucky because there was only one left in my size. Had I not come to Winners that day, I'm sure someone else would have picked it up instead.

I had wanted Hunter boots for years but never took the plunge. I was eyeing a particular pair hoping that one day it would go on sale... and it finally did!

The pair that I was eyeing is called the Original Slim Textured Rain Boots. The original retail price was $205, but I got it for $135.

I like the slim look at the more bulky ones do not look good on me. I also like the hidden zipper because it makes it easier to put on and it doesn't affect the boot's appearance.

I will be honest though... these boots were a little underwhelming when I finally got them. I thought they would be comfier, but who am I kidding? It's made of rubber. I should probably do a post on my top most underwhelming items I own. Wouldn't that make an interesting post?

Some Christmas lights that I came across in Winners. These were $20. They're currently hanging over my window.

sometext
A box of jingle bells. I thought these would add just a touch of Christmas spirit when put in a hurricane glass. I don't have space for one so I've just put some in a glass jar that is sitting on my dresser right now.

You guys know how much I love antlers. I'm thinking this is meant as a candle stand? But currently one of my small Christmas trees is sitting on top of it. It looks really cute and I will share pics of my Christmas room decor in the new year.

sometext
These were the only Christmas candles I was able to find. I wanted a larger version, but this was all that I could scrape up. It's probably for the best as I don't have any more space and too many candles left to burn.

I redeemed some more Shoppers Optimum points during a Spend Your Points Event. $200 worth of free stuff! And as you can see, $200 doesn't get you much in the luxury brand beauty department LOL.

I was excited to get this Guerlain Parure Gold Radiance Powder Foundation in "02 Beige Clair". I probably could have gone for the 01 Beige Pale but I didn't want to risk whiting out my face or ending up with a pink toned powder. We'll see how 02 goes.

Beautiful and very luxurious packaging. When you pull up the lid, the powder moves up as well to reveal the sponge underneath.

The other item I picked up was this Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons Bronzer. I've been looking at the Terracotta bronzers for literally years! I think maybe it started back in 2012-13. I liked the 4 seasons one because the colours are lighter and it has a multi purpose use for blush. The packaging is so nice. I swear, Guerlain has the most luxurious packaging, even more so than Chanel or Dior.

My new phone case. I got the same one I had before but my old one was all tattered up.

I actually have a story to go with my phone, but I'll try to make it short. Back in February, I went to the Samsung store to ask them about whether or not I was covered to have a small crack on my phone screen fixed since I had only owned my phone for a couple months. The sales guy was nice and I had told him that I had bought my phone off Amazon and that it's an international model. He told me it wouldn't hurt just to open it up to confirm if it was indeed international. About 2 hours later, they tell me I'm not covered since they have confirmed it was an international model. I told them to forget it and to just give me back my phone. 3 hours later they give me back the phone but the technician botches up the screen where the crack was and now it's completely obvious that the screen is cracked and the backing on the screen all torn up. We complained, got a replacement phone and was told that they have to check with upper management. After months of back and forth bullsh*t, nothing got fixed. Then I get a call in the Summer that it's finally been fixed. And the screen was indeed fixed, but now one of the touch-screen buttons don't work. Back it went, and now I had another replacement phone. Then November came and we called them saying that we just want the phone back even if it's not fixed because I'm just about done with this whole ordeal. I wanted the option to at least own my own phone and be able to sell or upgrade. I couldn't do anything with a replacement phone because it wasn't mine. They call me back and tell me they've misplaced the phone. FFS. Finally they give me a call and tell me that they will give me a new phone because they couldn't fix my old one (BULL!!). The only reason they gave me a new one was because they lost my original one. Worst customer service ever. But on the bright side, I backed up all my photos and I have a new phone.

Lastly, I visited Dixie Outlet Mall and walked into Treasure Hunt, a store recommended by my mom. I thought it was just another junk store but to my surprise I found leftover items from Target! OMG. Sadly there weren't many stuff left... I wish I knew of it, that way I'd probably be able to scoop up some good things. It felt so good to see Target stuff again. It made me cheerful inside. I miss Target :(

These were the things I picked up. The basket really remind me of Target and I really liked the colour and patterns so I got it. I also picked up a Brother PT-D400AD Label Maker for 50% off at $44.95 (retail $89.89). The pens were super cheap as they were marked down 50-70% off. I'm also thinking of going back for more because it's so darn cheap.

Lastly, I share our meal at A&W restaurant on Yonge after a long time of not going. So good!

Stay tuned for my special last post for the year :)
